Service Information
At Chevrolet, we have a detailed service schedule to ensure that your vehicle performs at its best for over 100,000 miles. A service schedule is in your Chevrolet Owner’s Manual, with all the information of the recommended services for your particular Chevrolet model. You can also find service information on our website. Regular services will make your vehicle run well and last longer.
The following list will help you to maintain your Chevy at the recommended service intervals:
Maintenance 1 Service
A certified Chevrolet technician must perform a Maintenance 1 or Maintenance 2 Service every 3,000 miles or three months alternately. The technician will change the engine oil and filter, inspect your vehicle for leaks and damage, check and rotate the tires, and inspect the brake fluid and engine coolant levels.
Maintenance 2 Service
The technician will perform the Maintenance 2 Service after another 3,000 miles or three months. He will change the engine oil and filter, check the tires for wear and tear and the correct pressure, and rotate the tires. He will probably replace the cabin air filter if necessary and inspect the steering, suspension, and throttle system. He will also check the fluid levels.
30,000-Miles
The 30,000-mile service is comprehensive and involves the replacement of fluids, filters, and spark plugs if necessary. A detailed inspection of the brakes and tires, and a possible replacement if necessary.
60,000-Miles
This service is the same as the 30,000-mile service, but it will include additional checks and inspections. The technician will check and replace fluids, the transmission filter, and the timing belt. He will also inspect the drive belts, hoses, and motor mounts.
100,000 Miles
If there are no problems or repairs, this is a minor service. It involves an oil and filter change, rotation of the tires, lubrication of the points, and a safety inspection. The technician will also check the brakes and hoses and make sure there are no leaks.
Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection
We offer a complimentary Multi-point Inspection performed by one of our expert technicians who will inspect your vehicle to check if any maintenance or repairs are needed. We will then give you a detailed report of any necessary services.
