Adaptive Cruise Control

Adaptive Cruise Control technology allows drivers to set a speed and following distance, allowing drivers to be in cruise mode in any traffic condition. For those who suffer from heavy traffic or need to travel highway roads often, this feature will eliminate the need to constantly brake and accelerate to accommodate to other drivers. Adaptive Cruise Control technology is available on many new Chevrolet vehicles and can be activated or edited via the steering wheel controls.

Side Blind Zone Alert

The Side Blind Zone Alert feature uses radars on the front and rear of the vehicle to detect parallel approaching vehicles. The feature will show a small light on the coordinating side view mirror when other vehicles are in the driver’s blind spot. The little indicator light on the mirror will stay on until the other driver moves out of the blind spot, allowing you to be more aware of your surroundings and make smarter moves on the road. The Side Blind Zone Alert will let drivers know whether or not it’s safe to change lanes.

Lane Keep Assist Technology

Lane Keep Assist technology provides audible and visual alerts on your Chevy's dashboard display when you drift into another lane without a turn signal. Should you take no action and continue to drift, Lane Keep Assist will gently nudge your steering wheel to help keep you in your lane. Using cameras at the front of the vehicle, this feature monitors the patterns and lines of the road to determine where your car should be. Lane Keep Assist helps to improve your safety and driving habits, but is a feature that can be turned on and off to your preference.

Rear Vision Camera

Rear Vision Camera technology is standard on every new Chevrolet or GM model. When a vehicle is put into reverse, the Rear Vision Camera feature enables a live view of what's behind your car on the interior display screen. Guidelines are provided on the screen to help you back your car safely into a parking spot, avoid collisions with hazards behind your vehicle, and most importantly, avoid backover accidents with pedestrians.

Forward Safety Awareness

If your car detects an oncoming Forward Safety Awareness technology provides alerts and automatic braking if needed. The Forward Safety Awareness feature uses cameras at the front of the Chevy to detect potential forward collisions with slower vehicles ahead or oncoming vehicles. Forward Safety Awareness can help prevent an accident from happening at all, and also help drivers keep a safe distance from vehicles ahead with alerts and warnings.

Rear Cross Traffic Alert

Working hand-in-hand with the Rear Vision Camera, the Rear Cross Traffic Alert feature uses radar technology to detect other vehicles that may be coming up behind you as you back out of a parking spot. If another vehicle is detected, the system will warn you with audible and visual alerts. The Rear Cross Traffic Alert feature helps you avoid collisions in any situation when you're backing up.

IntelliBeam Headlamps

IntelliBeam Headlamps will automatically adjust your headlamps per the conditions outside and per oncoming traffic hands-free! Using the front facing camera on your vehicle, this feature will turn your high-beams and low-beams on and off accordingly. This feature can help provide you a brighter view of the road, and avoid blinding other drivers with your high-beams or brights.

OnStar® Automatic Crash Response

If your Chevy is involved in an accident and equipped with OnStar®, you can rest easy knowing that someone is available to help right away. The Automatic Crash Response feature will alert an OnStar® Advisor, who can use the GPS in your vehicle to identify where you are and check in on you through the vehicle's audio system. You can now get 3 months of OnStar® service free with a new Chevrolet!
